Jordan records 14 new COVID-19 deaths on Monday

AMMAN— Jordan recorded 1,602 new COVID-19 cases and 14 new deaths Monday, bringing the total death toll to 10,965 and the total number of cases to 853,012.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that Amman recorded 753 cases, while Zarqa recorded 29 cases. Irbid registered 336 cases, Balqa 92 cases, Karak recorded 22, Jerash recorded 26 cases, and Tafileh recorded 30. Madaba registered 20 cases, Aqaba 79, and Ajloun 85.

The ministry said in a statement that around 105 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 104 new patients were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 18,234 according to the ministry. Around 4.85 percent of the 33,008 COVID-19 tests conducted Monday came back positive.
