During his meeting on Monday with the commercial sector in the Irbid governorate at the Chamber of Commerce building, in the presence of head of the Irbid Chamber of Commerce, Muhammad Al-Shouha and its board of directors, the minister indicated that the goal of the National Employment Program 2022 is to create 60,000 job opportunities for Jordanians in the private sector out of 400,000 job seekers.

Shouha said that this program contributes to enabling the private sector to provide its needs of qualified and trained Jordanian workers, praising the program that came after the COVID-19 pandemic.

He added that the program depends on the job opportunities available in the private sector, which are designated for this purpose.

Steitieh said that the first phase of the program is for a period of 30 days from the date of launch, through which private sector companies are called upon to list job opportunities via the electronic platform http://www.tashgheel.gov.jo

Steitieh pointed out that a number of institutions and employees of the Ministry of Labor, youth centers, local administration and municipalities in all governorates have been trained to help companies and young men and women looking for job opportunities.
