The ministry described the attack as a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, a threat to its security, stability and territorial integrity, a stark breach of international law, and an affront to the sanctity of Mecca and the sensibilities of Muslims worldwide.
Ambassador Fawwad Al-Majali, the ministry's official spokesperson, said Jordan stands in full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and supports all measures the kingdom takes to protect its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
