Jordan, Russia cooperate to restore security in south Syria

AMMAN — The head of the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee Khaldoun Hena discussed with the Ambassador of Russia to Jordan Gleib Dsiatnikov means of cooperation between the two countries to restore security in southern Syria, according to Ad-Dustour News.اضافة اعلان

Hena affirmed Jordan’s keen interest in preserving calm in southern Syria as this would provide a solid ground for future cooperation, particularly for the transit of electricity and gas to Lebanon.  For his part, Desatnikov said Russia was ready to work with Jordan to restore security and stability to Syria, especially in the southern Syrian region.
