Ministry spokesperson Fouad Al-Majali emphasized in a statement the importance of ensuring that aid reaches its recipients safely, in accordance with international law and international humanitarian law.

Al-Majali stressed the necessity of an immediate cessation of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, opening crossings to allow sufficient, prompt, and sustainable humanitarian aid to all areas of the Strip, and launching a genuine effort to achieve a just peace based on the two-state solution in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.

The Ministry also welcomed Hamas’ positive response to President Trump’s proposal to end the war on Gaza, describing it as an important step toward ending the conflict and its catastrophic consequences.

Additionally, the Ministry welcomed President Trump’s statements calling for an immediate ceasefire to enable the execution of a prisoner exchange deal under the terms outlined in the U.S. proposal, which Hamas has agreed to, thereby ending the bloodshed in Gaza.
