AMMAN — Jordan on Thursday condemned the drone attack targeting the Abdali border crossing in Kuwait, describing it as a blatant violation of the country’s sovereignty, a threat to its security, stability, and territorial integrity, a dangerous escalation, and a clear breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs reaffirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures the country takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
Earlier, the Kuwaiti military announced that the Abdali border crossing with Iraq had come under a second drone attack on the same day.
In a statement posted on X, the military said: “The Abdali border crossing was once again targeted this evening by hostile drones, causing material damage but no casualties.”
