Hassan and Bin Zayed emphasized the two countries’ shared commitment to expanding the horizons of cooperation in line with the visions and aspirations of His Majesty King Abdullah II and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Prime Minister also held talks with his Lebanese counterpart and the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq to strengthen bilateral cooperation and review overall regional developments.

Prime Minister Jafar Hassan participated in the World Government Summit, which began in Dubai on Tuesday with the attendance of heads of state, government leaders, and officials representing nearly 60 countries, alongside heads of international organizations, global institutions, and academic bodies.

During the summit, Hassan met with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court of the UAE, where they emphasized the importance of the summit in exchanging expertise and ideas, and establishing new partnerships between countries to develop government work and benefit from shared experiences—especially given the participation of hundreds of government leaders, experts, researchers, academics, and specialists.

The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen the fraternal bilateral cooperation between the countries, particularly in economic and investment fields. They stressed their mutual commitment to broadening cooperation in line with the visions of King Abdullah II and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

The importance of economic and investment partnership between Jordan and the UAE was highlighted in light of the comprehensive economic partnership agreement signed between the two countries.

Separately, the Prime Minister held meetings with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, to review bilateral relations, discuss ways to enhance them across various fields, and address overall regional developments, emphasizing the need to strengthen efforts toward security and stability in the region.

Minister of State for the Prime Ministry Affairs, Abdul Latif Al-Najdawi, attended the meetings.

Founded in 2013, the World Government Summit focuses on leveraging innovation and advanced technology to tackle pressing global challenges and envision the governments of the future.

This year’s summit, which hosts more than 6,000 participants from around the world, addresses five main themes: global governance and effective leadership, societal well-being and human capacity, economic prosperity and emerging opportunities, the future of cities and demographic transformations, and future horizons and upcoming opportunities.
