Prime Minister Jafar Hassan held a meeting on Wednesday with several ministers and officials to review plans and measures related to the sustainability of strategic reserves, supply chains, and energy security in light of current regional developments.

During the meeting, the concerned ministers and officials presented their respective ministry plans and the actions taken to address the repercussions of regional conditions, aimed at ensuring continued readiness. They affirmed that the strategic reserves of food, essential commodities, and energy are secure, diversified, and sufficient. They also noted that work is ongoing—through various options and alternatives—to overcome any challenges in supply chains, in close cooperation with the private sector.
