Greater Amman Municipality Rehabilitates 150 Stairways in the Capital

The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) continues maintenance work on stairways across its districts as part of its ongoing plan to rehabilitate them, aiming to provide the best services to citizens.اضافة اعلان
The maintenance project includes rehabilitating 150 stairways in the areas of Yarmouk, Ras Al-Ain, Badr Nazzal, Tareq, Abdali, Zahran, Sweileh, Al-Madina, and Abu Nseir.
The municipality is reconstructing old, deteriorated concrete stairways that serve residential neighborhoods by removing and rebuilding them according to proper engineering designs and standards to ensure durability and public safety.
GAM noted that 50 stairways have already been rehabilitated under this phase, out of more than 14,000 stairways across its districts.
The municipality reaffirmed that work is ongoing to complete maintenance on all stairways in need of rehabilitation in order to preserve durability and safeguard public safety.
