During a Sunday briefing to Cabinet members on Jordan's latest position on Israel’s war on Gaza, Khasawneh emphasized that any strike or activity is an expression targeting political pressure to reach a specific stance. He underscored the unity between the leadership, government, and the people, highlighting that such calls become a form of self-harm and weaken the internal front in Jordan, as reported by Khaberni.

Khasawneh stressed the importance of a strong internal front economically and socially, capable of serving and providing necessary assistance to people in Gaza and the West Bank, including economic aid.

"We always trust the citizens' awareness regarding these issues and support our economic, industrial, and commercial sectors in maintaining the normal course of life. Millions are willing to provide material, financial, and emotional support to people in Palestine and Gaza," he added.
