German FM visits Talbieh refugee camp

AMMAN - German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, on Friday, checked on services provided by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) for refugees at the Talbieh refugee camp. The German minister inspected the Talbiya School for boys, which is undergoing a comprehensive renovation and expansion, thanks to a contribution from the German government, channeled through the KfW Development Bank, as well as German support for the agency in providing social services to the most vulnerable refugees. UNRWA ensures that refugee students continue to benefit from their right to quality, safe and inclusive education through the implementation of its distance learning platform.
