Father kills 2 daughters, buries them in Ramtha home

AMMAN — Police said they arrested a man who allegedly killed his two daughters and buried them outside their house in the northern city of Ramtha, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.اضافة اعلان

Amer Al-Sartawi, the spokesperson of the Public Security Directorate, said that Ramtha police reported a call Monday by an Arab woman complaining about her ex-husband.

She told police that the man, who allegedly suffered from a mental illness, was continuously abusing and beating her four children, and that she feared for their lives.

Sartawi said police apprehended the man, after his two children told the authorities that their father beat to death their two elder sisters, nine and 12.

The man confessed that he beat one of the daughters to death 10 days ago, and killed the second one a few days later.
