Drop in temperature forecast, with weather remaining relatively hot

AMMAN — Temperatures on Sunday are expected to dip a few degrees, so relatively hot weather will prevail in much of the Kingdom, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.اضافة اعلان

Clouds at various altitudes are also forecast to appear with southwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times, the JMD added.

On Monday, a tangible drop in mercury levels is predicted, reaching the annual average and bringing moderate and spring-like weather nationwide with low clouds, the JMD noted.

Winds will be westerly active with strong gusts, blowing dust and causing poor horizontal visibility in the Badia areas, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Fair and spring-like weather conditions will continue on Tuesday across the country, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD further said.

Temperatures in Amman today will reach a high of 32°C, dropping to 16°C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a high of 35°C, dipping to 21°C during night hours.
