The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that officers from the Anti-Narcotics Department had been working for weeks to investigate and collect intelligence on a criminal cell linked to regional drug-smuggling gangs, which had been storing large quantities of narcotics in Madaba Governorate for sale and distribution.





He confirmed that after gathering all necessary data and identifying the suspects and storage sites, security forces raided the locations, arresting 14 individuals from the cell. During a simultaneous raid on the narcotics storage site, authorities seized 160 hashish bricks, half a kilogram of cocaine, and a quantity of narcotic pills.

In Balqa Governorate, a special unit raided and arrested one of the most dangerous drug dealers, believed to be the main supplier of narcotics to local distributors. He was apprehended after resisting the forces, with 29 hashish bricks and four firearms seized in his possession.

Meanwhile, in the Central Badia, security forces raided and arrested another drug dealer while he was transporting and attempting to sell narcotics. He was found with 50 hashish bricks in his possession.
