During the visit, Al-Akalik emphasized the necessity of simplifying procedures and accelerating transaction processing in line with the modernization and development plans pursued by the Customs Department. He noted that these efforts aim to provide high-quality services that support the investment environment and enhance the competitiveness of the national economy. He also stressed the importance of increasing coordination among the center's staff and boosting their readiness to manage the growing workload, while ensuring full compliance with regulations and the seamless flow of goods without delay.

The center is currently experiencing a significant surge in cargo volume, encompassing both transit traffic and goods imported into the Kingdom. This increase requires high-level coordination and intensified efforts from all relevant authorities.
