Close to 300,000 retirees registered with SSC at the end of last year

AMMAN — Insurance and social protection expert Musa Al-Subaihi said on Saturday that at the end of last year, 276,212 people were Social Security Corporation (SSC) retirees, including non-Jordanians, according to Khaberni.اضافة اعلان

Of these, 49,396, or 18 percent, are females; 8,219, or 3 percent, are non-Jordanians; 109,200, or 40 percent, are public sector retirees; and 134,000, or 48.5 percent, are early retirees.

The total pension bill for the month of December 2021 was JD118 million. The general pension average is JD475.
