AMMAN — Jordan recorded 225 new cases of COVID-19 and marked 2 new deaths between April 23 and April 29, the 17th epidemiological week, compared to 313 new cases and 5 deaths the preceding week, according to COVID weekly report.اضافة اعلان
 
According to the Ministry of Health, more than 18,000 PCR tests were conducted this week, of which 1.24 were positive.

There are currently 163 active cases in the Kingdom, with 8 patients having been admitted to the hospital and 19 people having been discharged. There are currently 14 people currently hospitalized for COVID-19, the Ministry of Health said.

About 4.76 million people have received their first dose of the vaccine and 4.48 million have received two.
