Army thwarts infiltration attempt in southern border

AMMAN — The Southern Military Zone on Thursday captured two Turkish nationals attempting to infiltrate into the Kingdom's territories.اضافة اعلان

In a statement, an official military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) - Arab Army said border guard forces applied rules of engagement with the infiltrators, arrested them, and transferred them to the competent authorities.

The source affirmed JAF will show zero tolerance in protecting the Kingdom's borders and will deal "firmly" with attempts aimed to tamper with Jordanian national security.
