Army thwarts infiltration and smuggling attempts

AMMAN — An official source at the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) said that the army, on Friday, thwarted smuggling and infiltration attempts in an eastern military zone, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

The rules of engagement were applied, according to the source, leading the smugglers to retreat to Syrian lands. The army found quantities of narcotics following an inspection of the area.

The source added that the army will deal strictly and firmly with any smuggling and infiltration attempts to the Kingdom.
