AMMAN — The Higher
Education Council on Monday approved amendments to a number of regulations to
enable a JD30 pay to public university employees, in line with pay raises
approved for public employees last year.
The decision
was announced in a statement from the government in response to a memo endorsed
by a number of Lower House members.
