74,000 visit tourist sites during Eid al-Adha holiday

AMMAN — A total of 73,624 people visited tourist and archeological sites in the Kingdom during four days of the Eid al-Adha holiday from July 9 to 12, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

According to a data released Thursday by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Petra received 11,500 visitors, Aqaba with 9,200 visitors, Wadi Rum with 6,000, Ajloun with 5,500, Mount Nebo with 4,600, and Jerash with 3,700, with the remainder distributed to other sites.

In a statement issued before the Eid holiday, the ministry stated that it had established a plan to provide visitors with round-the-clock services.
