AMMAN — Thirty-six local food and tech
companies are set to participate in the Gulfood Manufacturing Exhibition, which
is slated to start in Dubai on Sunday, according to the Jordan News Agency,
Petra.

Jordanian participation in the five-day exhibition
is being facilitated by the Jordanian Exporters Association (JEA).
JEA Chairman Ahmad Al-Khudari said in a statement on
Wednesday that the exhibition will provide a great opportunity for Jordanian
manufacturers to promote their products and attract new agents, as well as
compensate for not recently participating in foreign exhibitions due to the
COVID-19 pandemic.
The participating local companies specialize in
meat, dairy, pasta, pastries, vegetable oil, coffee, juices, cold and frozen
ready-made meals, ice cream, and canned goods, he said.
Gulfood is the world’s largest annual food and
beverage trade exhibition and brings together food professionals and global
suppliers, and gauges market developments in the industry.
