On Sunday, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Al-Kharabsheh said that the program is implemented by the Jordan Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund (JREEEF) as part of a Royal initiative that aims at improving the school environment.

“This batch is part of the 128 schools that have been included in JREEEF program of renewable energy upgrades with the goal of rationing energy consumption and providing a safe and stimulating educational environment for students,” the minister said.

The project, according to JREEEF Director Rasmi Hamzeh, entails designing, supplying, installing, connecting, operating, maintaining, and testing the renewable energy systems, as well as split air conditioners and solar heaters.
