13 new deaths and 567 new COVID-19 cases

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 567 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, and 13 new deaths, bringing the total death toll to 10,802 and the total caseload to 832,399.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that Amman recorded 152 cases, while Zarqa recorded 70 cases. Irbid registered 108 cases, Balqa 30 cases, Karak recorded 24 cases, Jerash 12 cases, and Tafileh 12 new cases, while Madaba registered 19 new cases, Aqaba 63, and Ajloun 11.

The ministry said in a statement that 46 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals Saturday, while 74 new cases were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 13,603 according to the ministry. From the 19,634 COVID-19 tests conducted Saturday, 2.89 percent came back positive.
