National teams fly to Singapore ahead of 3×3 Asia Cup

AMMAN — Jordan’s men and women’s 3×3 national basketball teams left for Singapore on Monday to participate in the 5th edition of the FIBA Asia 3x3 Cup, which will be held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore from July 6–10.اضافة اعلان

The women’s team comprises Zara Al-Najjar, Maria Al-Han, Joanna Haddad, and Liliana Abu Jbara, and the men’s team comprises Ahmed Obaid, Ahmed Hassouna, Khaled Abu Aboud, and Kidin Najdawi. They will be joined by coach Haitham Tlaib and physical therapist Louay Al-Mrayat.

The preliminary qualifiers for the group stage will be held on July 6–7. The women’s national team will face off against Thailand at 4:25am on July 7 and against the Philippines at 10:20am the same day.

Meanwhile, the men’s national team begins its campaign against the Philippines at 5:50am on July 7, followed by an 11:20am game against Indonesia.
