“The contract was canceled under mutual consent after the loss of Al-Shamal in the Qatar Cup, because there was no chemistry in the team. I think this would have affected my chances of being on the national team, so I preferred to leave,” Bzai told the Jordan News.

He added: “My next step is to join the national team training and focus on future endeavors,” he said, also noting that he is considering a lot of offers locally and abroad.

In return, Abu Hawas, in an interview with the Jordan News, noted: “I asked for the contract to be canceled about two weeks ago, and today they let me out and terminated the contract after I paid punitive damages (the penalty clause), my next step is to go back to Jordan and train with the national team, before signing a contract with a local club for the next season.”

The two players are scheduled to join the Jordan Falcons soon, in preparations to play Saudi Arabia in Amman, before returning to Riyadh on November 26 and 29 for the Asia World Cup 2023 qualifiers.
