70th edition of CFI Premier Basketball League kicks off Monday

AMMAN — The first round of the 70th edition of the CFI Premier Basketball League kicks is set to start on Monday, with the participation of six clubs:  Al-Wehdat, Al-Ahli, the Orthodox club, Al-Jubiha club, Kufryopa club, and Al-Jaleel club at the Prince Hamzah in Al-Hussein Youth City.اضافة اعلان

Ahli will start the campaign by defending their title against Jalil at 6pm, followed by a match between Jubaiha and the Orthodox at 8pm. The first round of matches will conclude on Tuesday with a match between Wehdat and Kufryopa at 6pm.

The first leg period will take place from December 27 till January. While the second leg period will take place on January 13 after a short two-day break, and continue till January 29.

The second stage of the matches will also be held using a two-legged ties system and will take place March 7– 28. The final stage will take place from April 15-29.

The Premier League champion will receive JD40,000, the second-place JD25,000, and JD20,000 for the third-placed team, while the fourth-place will be awarded JD15,000.
