AMMAN — Jordanian national team, Al-Radeef, which is comprised players under 23 years of age, beat their Syrian counterpart 5-2 in match that took place at the Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium. The match win sets up Al-Radeef to play Saudi Arabia at 5:30pm on Tuesday, at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd, in Dammam.
Coach Ahmad Haeel, expressed his happiness regarding the player’s performance, noting: “The technical discipline shown by the players for the 90 minutes was the milestone in the encounter, we have an important match ahead of us with the Saudi team, which is physical and strong technically.”
The West Asian Championship, the last preparatory stage for Al-Radeef, is being held before qualifiers that will be hosted by Jordan at the end of October, where the team will play in group 6, along with Palestine, and Turkmenistan.
