Cristiano Ronaldo Marries Longtime Partner Georgina Rodríguez

Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, Argentine model Georgina Rodríguez, in a civil ceremony held on Tuesday in the Portuguese city of Cascais.اضافة اعلان

The 41-year-old Al Nassr star posted a photo on social media showing the couple's hands wearing wedding rings, accompanied by the caption: "C ❤️ G," referencing their initials.


The wedding comes a year after Rodríguez, 32, announced their engagement on Instagram on August 11, 2025. At the time of the announcement, Rodríguez shared a close-up photo of her hand on top of Ronaldo's, displaying a massive oval-cut diamond ring, captioned: "Yes, I do. In this life and in every life."

The couple shares five children: twins Eva Maria and Mateo (9), Alana (8), and Bella (4), alongside Ronaldo’s eldest son, Cristiano Jr. (16), from a previous relationship. In April 2022, the couple tragically announced the passing of Bella's twin brother, Ángel, shortly after birth.

Ronaldo and Rodríguez first met in 2017 while she was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store. In January of that year, the couple made their first red carpet appearance together at FIFA's annual "The Best" awards ceremony in Zurich. By May, they officially confirmed their relationship on Instagram with a photo posted by Ronaldo.

In the 2022 Netflix reality series I Am Georgina, Ronaldo reflected on the early stages of their relationship, describing Rodríguez as "a very interesting girl, much more mature for her age." Rodríguez added that their relationship "started in a very special way."

Initially, the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus star did not expect the relationship to last long, but he eventually fell in love. "In the beginning, I didn't think the relationship would be this strong or that I would fall in love with her. Honestly, I didn't expect it. But after some time, I felt she was the woman of my life," Ronaldo said.

In an interview with Spain's Elle magazine in December 2025, Rodríguez recalled Ronaldo's surprise proposal, admitting she was completely "shocked" at the moment.

"The truth is, when he proposed, it was the last thing I expected," she said. "It took me a long time to digest the size of the diamond stone on the ring he gave me. I was so astonished that I left it in my room and only saw it under sunlight the next day."
