French newspaper Le Parisien has revealed shocking information about Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé being targeted by a gang suspected of planning several kidnapping and home invasion operations.

According to the newspaper, the alleged ringleader, Clément (18), was formally charged with robbery on August 21, 2026, in the French city of Nanterre, where he is suspected of being the mastermind behind the plot.
The young suspect, who was already in prison on an unrelated case, is alleged to have continued issuing instructions from his cell, particularly via Snapchat. Reports indicate that analysis of two devices seized in prison allowed investigators to uncover 26 addresses belonging to wealthy individuals, including businessmen, singers, and footballers.
Kylian Mbappé was among the targets of this kidnapping plot, alongside a rapper and several businessmen.
The case began following a series of attacks, most notably one targeting a watchmaker, carried out by men who disguised themselves as delivery drivers before the store was robbed a few days later.
An investigation by the organized crime unit gradually uncovered the criminal network, with a judicial source telling Le Parisien: "He wanted to target a rapper, and footballer Kylian Mbappé."
