Hamza Abdelkarim made his first official appearance for Barça during Monday night's match against Rayo Vallecano in the 2026-2027 La Liga season.
The young Egyptian forward came on as a substitute for Brazilian star Raphinha in the 86th minute, after Raphinha had scored twice in the match.
This marked Abdelkarim's first official appearance for Barcelona, following several pre-season friendlies with the Catalan club before the new campaign began. He had been an unused substitute in Barcelona's first two league matches against Elche and Athletic Bilbao.
Barcelona secured a big 5-2 win over Rayo Vallecano in matchday three of La Liga at Camp Nou. The club's four goals came from Raphinha (two goals), an own goal by Florian (into his own net), and two goals from Lamine Yamal, while Sergio Camello scored twice for Rayo Vallecano.
The result lifted Barcelona to 9 points after three consecutive wins, while Rayo Vallecano remain stuck on a single point.
Barcelona will open their September schedule with an away match against Valencia, visiting the Mestalla next Sunday evening in La Liga.
The Catalan side then continues with a tough European test against Dutch club Feyenoord, kicking off their Champions League league-phase campaign at home at Camp Nou on Wednesday, September 9.
Barcelona's September fixtures continue with an away trip to Levante on September 13 in La Liga, before hosting Racing at Camp Nou on the 16th of the same month.
Barcelona will close out their September schedule with a tough away clash against Sevilla in La Liga, at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium on September 20, just before the international break begins.
