Al-Baqa'a club's management is currently working to settle financial dues owed by the club to a number of players and coaches who previously represented the football team during last season's competitions, as part of efforts by management to ease financial burdens and reduce the club's level of debt.

Al-Baqa'a club chairman Mohammad Al-Yasouri told "Al-Ghad": "The club's management had for some time factored into its plans the goal of carrying out financial settlements with a number of players and coaches, alongside paying part of the dues owed to them, but the recent transfer window and the accompanying financial obligations, along with the costs of signing players and paying contract advances, prevented management from implementing this step to the extent it had hoped for."
He explained that management has not abandoned this matter, and is seeking to make use of the upcoming break period, which comes after the third round of the Professional League, in order to reorganize financial affairs and carry out settlements with those owed dues, which would help address part of the club's accumulated financial obligations and open the way for management to continue operating more stably going forward.
Al-Yasouri noted that club management senses a degree of satisfaction among Al-Baqa'a's fans with the level the team has shown over the past two rounds of the Professional League, especially after the team's positive start, marked by a clean 1-0 win over Doqara, before drawing 0-0 against Al-Hussein Irbid.
He added that these results gave the team a good morale boost and reflected Al-Baqa'a's ability to deliver competitive performances despite the circumstances the club is going through, noting that the board of directors is keen to continue supporting and motivating the players, and will be handing the team financial bonuses in recognition of the positive results achieved at the start of the league campaign.
He explained that management will also set aside additional financial bonuses if the team manages to beat Al-Faisaly, in the match between the two teams as part of the third round of the Professional League, scheduled for next Sunday at Amman International Stadium, in a match expected to draw significant fan interest.
Al-Yasouri confirmed that club management is at the same time working to secure a sponsor for the team and the club during the coming period, given the need for financial resources to help management meet its obligations toward players and coaching staff, and to face the growing financial burdens that most Professional League clubs have come to suffer from.
He revealed that Al-Baqa'a's management is close to reaching an agreement with a sponsor, noting that the club has received positive indications in this regard, and that contacts and negotiations are still ongoing, pending a final picture becoming clear in the coming days, which would provide important support for the team and club's progress.
Al-Baqa'a's management is seeking to build on the team's positive start by continuing to support the players and motivating them to give more on the pitch, alongside working to address administrative and financial matters, chief among them the issue of dues and securing new financial resources, helping the club continue its Professional League campaign in the best possible way.
Al-Baqa'a's supporters hope the team will continue its steady progress in the Professional League, and succeed in establishing itself among the league's clubs this season, alongside striving to achieve an advanced position, especially given the team's good start, which has raised fans' expectations about the team's ability to keep collecting positive results.
Al-Baqa'a currently sits in fifth place in the Professional League standings with 4 points, the same tally as Al-Jazeera, Al-Salt, Al-Faisaly, and Al-Ramtha, an indication of the strength of competition and how close the levels and points are on the table, which makes every point in the coming rounds highly significant in determining the shape of the competition and teams' positions.
