Kazuo Ishiguro, author of “A Pale View of Hills”, was born in Nagasaki, Japan, in 1954 and moved to the UK at the age of five. His previous works of fiction have earned him many honors around the world, including the Nobel Prize in Literature. His work has been translated into over 50 languages.
