During the meeting held at the Ministry of Youth, Dr. Al-Adwan emphasized the ministry’s commitment to empowering young people through the development of their digital skills, in alignment with future job requirements and labor market demands. He outlined the ministry’s plan to activate youth centers, which includes a key focus on developing programs offered by both the ministry and the youth centers. This requires enhancing programs on entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as initiatives on digital culture and programming within the plans of directorates, youth centers, and business incubators.
Dr. Al-Adwan praised the long-standing partnership with Orange Jordan, which has contributed—through the Orange Digital Center—to empowering youth and equipping them with communication, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills, in addition to providing integrated communication solutions that support training programs.
For his part, Orange Jordan CEO Eng. Philip Mansour affirmed the company’s commitment to digitally empowering youth, supporting them in shaping their future, and encouraging diverse talents to join the telecommunications and IT sector, contributing to the national digital transformation vision. He added that the company’s technological solutions and investments in 5G network infrastructure reflect its approach of fulfilling commitments, creating a positive societal impact, and enhancing sustainability.
The two sides also discussed ways to support volunteer efforts and ensure they are impactful and sustainable, noting that the company won the King Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award for Volunteer Work in its second cycle under the for-profit institutions category.
