According to data by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company, the amount of oil exported to Jordan in June was 299.8 barrels, or about 10,000 barrels a day.

The two countries agreed in June to continue to work on the memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides. The agreement envisages Jordanian daily import of 10,000 barrels of Iraqi crude oil from the northern Kurdish oil wells of Kirkuk. The oil is sent to the Jordanian petroleum refinery.

Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resource’s data revealed that the total quantities of Iraqi crude oil supplied to Jordan from the start of supply at the beginning of September 2021 until the end of last year reached about 1.19 million barrels.
