As part of this expansion, Housing Bank is introducing support for the School Feeding Program as a new component of the partnership. The initiative will see the distribution of healthy date bars, rich in natural nutrients, to students in underprivileged areas. It aims to strengthen school food security, promote student health, and enhance concentration levels and academic performance.
The partnership will also encompass home renovation with the aim of improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable families by providing safe and dignified housing. This initiative is expected to contribute positively to family stability, as well as to the physical and mental well-being of beneficiaries.
In addition, Housing Bank will continue its support of the Family Sponsorship Program implemented by Tkiyet Um Ali and will contribute to a range of volunteer initiatives, including packing and distributing food parcels and serving hot meals at the charity iftar tables hosted at the organization’s headquarters in the Al-Mahatta. These activities will be carried out with the participation of Housing Bank employees volunteering through the Imkan by Iskan program, reflecting the Bank’s commitment to fostering a culture of volunteerism and strengthening employee engagement in community initiatives.
The longstanding partnership between Housing Bank and Tkiyet Um Ali represents a cornerstone of Imkan by Iskan. This year’s expansion underscores the bank’s growing humanitarian and community-focused efforts and reinforces its leading role in advancing sustainable social impact.
It is worth noting that Tkiyet Um Ali, founded in 2003, is one of Jordan’s leading charitable organizations dedicated to providing underprivileged families with healthy, balanced meals throughout the year. The organization adopts a sustainability- and people-centric approach through regular food assistance programs that adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety, contributing to enhanced food security and support for vulnerable communities across the Kingdom’s governorates.
