The Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) continues its round-the-clock efforts in line with current weather conditions. Field teams began operations yesterday and have continued through the night and early morning, actively monitoring to ensure sector readiness and uninterrupted service across all regions of the Kingdom.

The Chairman of the Commission, Eng. Ziad Al-Suaideh, personally supervises the work and emergency procedures directly with EMRC staff from the Monitoring and Emergency Center in Amman. His oversight also includes field visits to EMRC centers in Karak and southern Jordan, emphasizing full compliance with quality standards and effective response measures.
Eng. Al-Suaideh affirmed the Commission’s commitment to collaborative work and full coordination with the refinery, electricity companies, and all energy sector partners to ensure network readiness, stable supply, and availability of petroleum products, including kerosene and gas cylinders. He also highlighted the continuation of awareness campaigns promoting efficient energy consumption and best practices.
The Chairman expressed appreciation for the ongoing support and cooperation from the government, licensed entities, media, and citizens. He called on EMRC staff across all locations to continue fulfilling their national duty, maintaining preparedness to guarantee uninterrupted service, safeguard public interest, and ensure the reliability of the Kingdom’s energy system.
