No one expected that President Trump, who took over the US presidency two years ago, would get his ship and those with him stuck in the Strait of Hormuz, through which all previous US presidents passed .اضافة اعلان

Trump lost the Midterm Elections and lost control of the Senate and the House of Representatives to the Democrats.

Trump's slogan when he took office was "let's Make America Great Again"; he dreamed of economic well-being and world domination, which at that time was popular and supported by both the Republican and democratic parties.

Trump believed that he could achieve all his goals in record time and forgot that politics and the economy are two sides of the same coin, his weakness in politics, especially foreign policy, did not brush his path with roses, especially his full understanding of external challenges and international conflicts in the hotbeds of global conflict; as it affected his political decisions, which reflected negatively on the US economy and US citizens, not forgetting the tension with his allies, whether his neighboring countries Canada and Mexico or European countries on the opposite bank of the Atlantic.

The popularity of the US president has begun to decline

With his hasty and ill-considered decisions after taking office to impose customs duties on the countries of the world allied to him before friend and foe, which then shook the world markets, stock exchanges and logistics transportation, affected energy prices and introduced the world into a state of uncertainty, affected the US economy and the livelihood of the US citizen.

Trump continued to flounder by threatening his neighboring countries and his allies, sometimes by occupying Canada, sometimes by occupying the island of Greenland and controlling the Panama Strait, and threatening Europe by withdrawing from NATO and not supporting this alliance so that European countries fall prey to Russia, and the world does not forget his kidnapping of the president of Venezuela from his bedroom and taking him to an unknown destination.

Trump continued with his floundering foreign policy, where he did not succeed in solving the Gaza issue and sided with Israel despite the genocidal war that the Palestinians in Gaza were subjected to, which was condemned by most countries of the world and gave rise to protests all over the world, especially within the United States, which affected his balance of supporters.

The confusion deepened by being drawn behind Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, who the latter wanted to escape from his trial at home for corruption cases and a trial abroad at the International Criminal Court, as the United States was involved in wars of attrition with Iran, the latest of which was the tension that witnessed the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which overthrew the world economy and the great rise in energy prices and high prices, from which the US citizen suffered more than ever.

Therefore, the expected result was the loss of the balance of Trump's supporters to half, and this led to his loss of the midterm elections in the Senate and the House of Representatives.

This is with regard to Trump's foreign policy, but his domestic policy was not in the best shape, he canceled health insurance and retirement funds, canceled corporate taxes, which led to a reduction in revenues to the Treasury, and other internal decisions that affected his electoral balance.

And do not forget that the US debt exceeded 40 trillion dollars and the price of a barrel of oil was 105 dollars on the eve of the elections.

What's after the midterm elections?

The loss of Trump's presidency of the Senate and the House of Representatives will put financial restrictions, especially in requesting any funding to wage war on Iran or any other country, or even in the implementation of his projects, and will make monitoring of his performance and implementation of his plans more restrictive, and enter into legislation that may cancel his projects and programs .
And do not forget that the US government will suffer from a government shutdown at the end of this year as the indebtedness approaches 41 trillion dollars.

The remaining period of Trump's rule will be further complicated by a collision with the Democrats, a mismatch in the domestic and foreign policies of the United States.
