The United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy stated on Sunday that they are ready to lift sanctions imposed on Iran in response to steps related to its nuclear program, following the agreement reached between the United States and the Islamic Republic to end the war between them.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced late Sunday-Monday night that a peace agreement had been reached between the United States and Iran following intensive talks.
Sharif said via his account on "X" that both sides announced an immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon.
He pointed out that the official signing ceremony will be held on Friday, June 19, in Switzerland.
He explained that as the agreement comes into effect, mediators will work to facilitate a series of meetings during this week.
