MOSCOW — Russian Ambassador to the United States
Anatoly Antonov denied that the United States had sent any specific information
to the embassy before the attack that occurred on Friday in a music hall near
Moscow, resulting in a large number of casualties.

The Russian news agency TASS quoted Antonov as
saying, 'No specific information was provided to us,’ Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
He added that there had been no contact after
the attack.
Earlier, Adrienne Watson, spokeswoman for the
US National Security Council, mentioned that the US government had relayed
information to Russia earlier this month about a planned attack in Moscow and
also issued general advice to Americans in Russia on March 7.
