Since 7.6 quake, Turkey, Northern Syria record 33,077 aftershocks

AMMAN — The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced on Saturday that 33,077 aftershocks were recorded following the earthquakes that struck Turkey and Northern Syria on February 6, 2023. اضافة اعلان

According to a statement on the Turkish news agency, Anatolia, AFAD noted that these tremors were recorded from February 6 to May 6, 2023, stressing that it monitors the seismic activity in and around Turkey around the clock.

On February 6, 2023, two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6 struck the south of Turkey and north of Syria, which left thousands of violent aftershocks and left thousands of people dead, injured, and displaced.
