The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a communique: "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's categorical condemnation of the Iranian aggressions against the Kingdom, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and a number of brotherly and friendly Arab and Islamic nations, which cannot be accepted or justified under any circumstances."

Saudi Arabia emphasized that it "reserves its full right to take all measures that ensure the protection of its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents, and to deter aggression."

The statement added: "Attacking civilian objects, airports, and oil facilities only demonstrates an insistence on threatening security and stability, and constitutes a flagrant violation of international conventions and international law."

Israel and the United States have been conducting airstrikes on Iran since Saturday, February 28, which resulted in the death of the Iranian Supreme Leader. Since then, Tehran has retaliated by striking Israel and other countries in the region with missiles and drones. — (AFP)
