Israel and the United States have been carrying out airstrikes on Iran since Saturday, February 28, which resulted in the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Since then, Tehran has been responding by launching missiles and drones targeting Israel and countries across the region.

Iran has also imposed a naval blockade on ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz, targeting oil tankers attempting to pass through the strategic waterway.

On Sunday, March 1, Hezbollah launched several rockets from Lebanon toward northern Israel in response to the assassination of Khamenei, drawing Lebanon into an open conflict with Israel, which subsequently carried out devastating airstrikes on southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
