Al-Ansari explained that Qatar continues to monitor the Gaza agreement and works to prevent the collapse of the current ceasefire. He noted that mediation efforts are ongoing, while expressing concern over violations of the agreement.
He emphasized that every breach of the Gaza ceasefire threatens its stability and undermines its effectiveness, even though it remains the longest-standing truce so far despite these violations. Efforts are ongoing to transform the current ceasefire into a process leading to the second phase of the agreement.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aati stated that his country hopes to deliver larger and unrestricted quantities of aid to Gaza to meet the needs of the Palestinian people. He also stressed the importance of consolidating the ceasefire agreement and beginning the implementation of the second phase of the U.S. plan.
German Foreign Minister Johan Wadevoul highlighted the need for Israel to fully comply with the ceasefire and allow humanitarian aid to reach Gaza without obstacles, emphasizing the importance of enabling relief efforts to reach civilians effectively.
