These strikes constitute a new violation of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, which was reached based on U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan consisting of 20 points to end the war in Gaza.

According to the Palestinian News Agency, medical sources reported that 24 Palestinians were killed in a series of airstrikes on the Strip. Nine arrived at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, four at Al-Awda Hospital in Al-Nuseirat, and eight at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.

Israeli aircraft targeted a vehicle near the Abbas Junction in Al-Rimal neighborhood, resulting in the killing of at least five Palestinians and injuring others. Additionally, four Palestinians were killed and others wounded when an Israeli airstrike hit a house on Al-Labbabidi Street in Al-Nasr neighborhood, west of Gaza City.

A house in Al-Nuseirat refugee camp was also struck, causing the death of a Palestinian and injuring others, who were transferred to Al-Awda Hospital. Four Palestinians were also killed and others wounded when another house was bombed in Section 2 of Al-Nuseirat camp in the central region.

Israeli aircraft also targeted a house near Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque, west of Deir al-Balah, killing four Palestinians and injuring others, who were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

This military escalation comes at a time when calm was expected, in accordance with the comprehensive agreement signed on Monday, October 14, 2025, in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh.

The document states that the signatories will continue working toward a comprehensive vision of peace, security, and shared prosperity in the region, based on principles of mutual respect and a common destiny.

Earlier, medical sources announced that the death toll in Gaza had risen to 69,733—most of them children and women—since the beginning of the Israeli occupation’s assault on October 7, 2023.

The sources also reported that the number of injured has increased to 170,863 since the start of the assault, while many victims remain under the rubble, with rescue teams unable to reach them.

They added that in the past 48 hours, Gaza hospitals had received seven martyrs and 30 injured. Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, the toll has reached 318 martyrs, 788 injured, and 572 bodies recovered.
