Kuwaiti authorities brought a fire under control on Wednesday morning after an Iranian drone targeted a residential complex in a capital district.

Brigadier General Mohammad Al-Ghareeb, official spokesperson for the Kuwait General Fire Force, confirmed that firefighters successfully contained the blaze at the housing complex, noting that no casualties or injuries were recorded from the incident.
The response follows an announcement by the Kuwaiti Army earlier at dawn that its air defense systems had successfully intercepted incoming Iranian missile and drone strikes.
