Rockets from enclave fired into southern Israel

Israeli airstrikes have pounded the Gaza Strip for a second day in a row. The strikes targeted both south and north of the besieged enclave.

According to local media, Israel killed one Palestinian and injured others. 



Since Israel’s attack on Gaza on Monday, 16 Palestinians have been killed including four children, and tens have been injured, according to the Palestinian health ministry. 

In response, rockets have been reportedly fired from Gaza to southern Israel. 


According to Al Jazeera’s Youmna El Sayed, some of the sites that were hit were camps belonging to the Al-Quds Brigade, the military arm of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
