Israeli occupation authorities have issued a new military order targeting land in Deir Nidham village, northwest of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission said Thursday that the order targets 94.79 dunums of village land located in Basins 3 and 4 in the Wadi al-Hamata area.
The commission said the order requires the removal of wild vegetation and the uprooting of olive trees in the targeted area, giving landowners 12 hours from the time of the inspection to carry out the removal work.
It added that the new order brings the number of military orders issued on Wednesday to five, targeting the removal of trees and vegetation from a total area of 533.598 dunums in the Jenin and Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorates.
This brings the total number of military orders issued by Israeli occupation authorities in 2026 to 53, targeting a total of 2,287.58 dunums, compared with 47 orders targeting 1,613 dunums throughout 2025 — an increase of 42% in the amount of land targeted for seizure.
