In a statement, the office strongly condemned "the IOF’s violation of the dignity of the bodies of 80 killed which it had previously stolen during the aggression, and later handed over in a mutilated state through the Karam Abu Salem crossing for burial in the Rafah province."

The statement revealed that "the occupation handed over the bodies without revealing their identities, refusing to specify the names of those killed or the locations from which they were stolen." It further explained that "upon examination, it became clear that the features of the killed had changed significantly, indicating the Israeli occupation's theft of vital organs from their bodies."

"The occupation has repeated this crime more than once during the aggression. It previously dug up graves in Jabalia and stole some dead bodies. Additionally, it continues to hold dozens of bodies from the Gaza Strip." The office further explained, calling for "a completely independent international investigative committee into the Israeli occupation's abduction of the bodies and the theft of their vital organs."
