This morning, Thursday, the 127th Egyptian humanitarian convoy departed from the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing, heading to the Gaza Strip via the Kerem Abu Salem crossing in the southeast.

The convoy carries urgent humanitarian aid, including food, relief supplies, and medical materials, as part of Egypt’s ongoing efforts to coordinate and deliver assistance to Gaza, according to Cairo News correspondent Ziad Qassem at Rafah.
The “Zad Al-Izza” convoy, now in its 127th run, brought thousands of tons of comprehensive aid, including food baskets, flour, medical supplies, relief items, baby formula, and fuel.
In response to the ongoing cold weather and winter conditions, the Egyptian Red Crescent intensified the delivery of essential winter supplies to Gaza, providing thousands of winter garments, blankets, and tents for displaced and affected families.
The “Zad Al-Izza… From Egypt to Gaza” convoys, launched on 27 July last year by the Egyptian Red Crescent, have delivered thousands of tons of aid, including food supplies, flour, baby formula, medical equipment, medications, personal care items, and fuel.
The Egyptian Red Crescent serves as the national mechanism for coordinating and dispatching aid to Gaza, maintaining operations at the border throughout the crisis. Over 65,000 volunteers have contributed to the delivery of more than half a million tons of humanitarian and relief assistance.
